Kindle Light
The great thing about the Kindle Reader, or about any eBook Reader of that matter, is how much like a book it is: it won’t affect your eyes like a computer screen would and it makes for a great way to relax. And the worst thing about a Kindle is how much like a book it is. The very thing that makes it so great for your eyes, no brightness, is the very fact that makes you so dependent on an exterior lighting source, be it the sun or an artificial light source. But what about the great autonomy the kindle offers then?
Lucky for us the great gadget that now comes with the latest kindle covers is a kindle light. Yet what if your cover of choice isn’t the Amazon original one? What if you want something more than stock for your covers? Than you have the great choice of some great kindle lights being sold out there and they too, just like your covers range from aspect to functionality.
One of the best illumination for a kindle light is the Belkin Kindle eBook Light. It might look a bit funky, like its designer watched one episode to many of Robocop, but it does provide three leds powered by three AAA batteries. That means that not only you’ll have a great lighting source but you also get the choice of regulating your lighting intensity. The 7 inch arm will most definitely come in handy and help you position your light where ever you need. And the 3 AAA batteries will surely provide you with a lot of reading hours. The only down side of this kindle light is the very thing that makes it great, so many features, so many batteries, will also make for an even heavier eBook reader.
At the other end of the looks/durability line for the kindle light there is the Solis e-Reader Light. You might say that it looks like a bathroom water tab but we choose to see it as an aluminum swiveling light source that will so perfectly suit your Kindle especially since the aluminum body, 1 triple A battery and one led will make this kindle light weigh less than most of the covers out there. The down side? Well you don’t get as much light as the Belkin, nor can you adjust the intensity of your light.
Somewhere in between your range of kindle light options stands the Mighty Bright XtraFlex2 Clip-On Light. It needs 2 AAA batteries and has 2 led so you do have the possibility to adjust the intensity and can enjoy a longer period of reading without having to change the battery. It’s design is also rather simple being what it is, a modern reading light. It has a strong enough grip that will clip on to your covers without damaging them and the slim flexible neck will most certainly help you set your kindle light in the best position for reading.
